About the Roles We are seeking experienced Pipelayers and Concreters for multiple long‑term infrastructure projects across the Townsville region. These are immediate start opportunities offering consistent hours, supportive site teams, and ongoing work for high-performing candidates.
What You’ll Be Doing Pipelaying Duties
- Laying stormwater pipe
- Installing precast and insitu stormwater pits
- Laying sewer pipe and completing house connections
- Installing sewer manholes
- Laying water mains
- Installing sluice valves and fire hydrants
- Laying water poly
- Laying electrical and communications pipe
- Installing NBN pits
Concreting Duties
- Formwork, steel fixing, and preparation
- Pouring, screeding, and finishing concrete
- General civil labouring tasks
- Operating hand tools and small equipment safely
- Working as part of civil construction crews on large‑scale infrastructure
- Following all site safety requirements and working positively within team environments
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience as a Pipelayer and/or Concreter
- Construction White Card (mandatory)
- Relevant plant/operator tickets (highly regarded)
- Ability to pass pre‑employment medicals and checks as required
- Reliability, strong communication skills, and a committed safety focus
