Protech is seeking experienced and reliable Duct Installers & Sheetmetal Workers for multiple ongoing projects across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and the Gold Coast on Commercial Construction sites.
Current and upcoming projects include Hospitals, Commercial Office Buildings, Multi Residentials, and Schools.
Sheetmetal Workers/Duct Installers, Mechanical Plumbers, and Refrigeration Mechanics are encouraged to apply!
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Immediate start available with additional projects starting over the coming months
- $60-$80.21 per hour – both award and EBA work available!
- Standard work hours are Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm
- Additional penalties and allowances applicable
- Wages paid weekly
- Casual roles with ability to move to permanent
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation of Duct Work, vents, grilles, and insulation according to blueprints and specifications
- Installation of Air Conditioning units for commercial sites
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand and power tools
- Install spiral, square, and rectangular ducts in accordance with Australian Standards
- Ability to perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
TICKETS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Possess all mandatory industry licenses
- EWP, Working at Heights, Scissor Lift, Forklift tickets are adventageous but not required
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- 2+ years of demonstrated commercial HVAC experience
- Have an ability to navigate, understand and troubleshoot an array of HVAC systems
