ABOUT YOU
At Protech, we pride ourselves on delivering on our purpose to ‘be a positive influence in people’s lives’ and would hope you share that purpose and if you have worked in the industry for 20+ years or have only just recently answered your first phone call at the front desk, then we want to hear from you!
– The ability to relocate either temporarily or permanently to follow a project wherever it may be across the areas mentioned above.
– Qualifications such as Certificate/Diploma in Business Administration are highly desirable, but not always essential.
– Ability to complete a pre-employment drug test or medical depending on the project requirements.
Some administrative skills you will have though at a minimum;
– Reception/switchboard, e.g. directing telephone callers to appropriate staff, issuing and receiving standard forms, relaying internal information and initial greeting of visitors.
– Maintenance of basic records.
– Filing, collating, photocopying, etc.
– Handling or distributing mail including messenger service.
– Recording, mathcing, checking and batching of accounts, invoices, orders, store requisitions, etc.
– The operation of keyboard and other allied equipment.

– Allowances available from LAFHA to pay for accommodation and/or meals to travel time as well as applicable site or tool allowances.
– Overtime and shift penalties available depending on the project requirements.
– Opportunities to progress into higher skilled roles with higher pay rates.
