Protech are currently seeking an experienced GPS Rover Operator to join our team on a civil project based in Willowbank.
This role is ideal for someone with proven experience using GPS equipment on civil or earthworks sites who can hit the ground running.
Position Details
- Role: GPS Rover Operator
- Location: Willowbank, QLD
- Start: ASAP
- Days: Monday – Friday
- Hours: 6:30am start
- Duration: Approx. 8 weeks (potential for extension)
- Pay Rate: $40-$42 per hour base + penalties + allowances
Key Requirements
- Demonstrated experience operating a GPS Rover on civil construction sites
- Strong understanding of set‑out, measurements, and GPS data capture
- Ability to work safely and efficiently within a busy civil environment
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Reliable transport to Willowbank site
- Ability to start early and commit to the duration of the project
Duties Include
- Conducting GPS survey and set‑out tasks
- Capturing and validating accurate site data
- Liaising with site supervisors and engineers
- Assisting with general civil site operations where required
