Protech is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Roll Form Operator to join a leading manufacturing facility based in Thornton.
About the Role
You will be responsible for operating roll‑forming machinery to produce metal roofing and building products. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone mechanically minded, safety‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. This is a casual position offering consistent full-time hours, with opportunities for long-term ongoing work.
Key responsibilities:
- Operating and monitoring roll-forming machines
- Completing quality checks and meeting production specifications
- Loading material coils and overseeing production runs
- Performing basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area
- Assisting with general factory and warehouse tasks as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in roll-form operating
- A high level of attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work in a busy manufacturing environment
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive team attitude
- A forklift licence (highly regarded but not essential)
