Protech are currently seeking Civil Labourers to join our team at the Cowley Depot (approx. 118km south of Cairns, near Innisfail), supporting road maintenance and emergency response works. These roles offer ongoing work for candidates who are reliable, safety-focused, and available for callouts.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Immediate start available
Casual roles with ongoing, stable work
Based at Cowley Depot (near Innisfail)
Participation in emergency callouts required
Night work required depending on operational needs
Working as part of a civil/road maintenance crew
Opportunity for long-term placement

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

General civil labouring duties
Supporting road maintenance and repair works
Assisting with traffic control and site set-up
Responding to emergency callouts when required
Operating and maintaining tools and equipment
Working safely in active traffic environments
Following all WHS and traffic management procedures

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Construction White Card
MR Licence (minimum – essential)
Current Traffic Control (TC) ticket – essential
TC/TMI (Traffic Management Implementation) ticket – essential
Previous civil labouring or road maintenance experience (highly regarded)
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Reliable transport
