Carpenter – Government Housing Project

Protech is seeking experienced and qualified Carpenters to join a government housing project based in Woree, Cairns.

What’s on offer?

• Immediate start
• Casual ongoing position
• Monday to Friday roster
• Local Cairns-based work
• Construction of new modular homes

Key duties

• Perform carpentry works on modular housing projects
• Complete general maintenance and trade-related tasks
• Work independently and within a small team
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment
• Complete basic reporting and use computer systems as required

Requirements

• Australian Trade Qualification in Carpentry
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• Residential or commercial construction experience
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
