Protech are looking for experienced Industrial Boilermaker/Welders to perform work with our client on a 20:8 roster near Karratha.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read drawings, work orders and production schedules to understand job tasks.
- Select, clean and prepare metal stock for fabrication.
- Fit and assemble metal components by welding, brazing, soldering or bolting.
- Demonstrate the safe use of all tools and equipment associated with fabrication and welding.
- Operate manual or semi-automated welding equipment to conduct the following weld processes.
- Stick Welding (Shielded Metal Arc Welding or SMAW)
- MIG Welding (Gas Metal Arc Welding or GMAW)
- Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
- TIG Welding (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding or GTAW)
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Working at Height, Confined Space and Gas test Atmospheres (must be current within the last 2 years).
- Construction White/Blue Card
- Current Australian “C” Class Driver’s Licence
- Trade Cert
- Ability to pass a 3G/4G plate test to AS 2980 ( BMW Only )
- Apply First Aid
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (Desired)
- High Risk Work Licence – EWP (Desired)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen
- Full Working Rights in Australia
