Labourers – Bridge Maintenance (Long-Term Project) Burdekin Region
Our client is currently seeking 3 motivated Labourers to join a bridge maintenance crew on a long-term maintenance project (up to 5 years) based over the Burdekin River.

About the Role
You’ll be part of a small, tight-knit crew performing essential maintenance on a major bridge structure located in the Burdekin.

Key duties include:
- High-pressure water blasting (HPW descaling)
- General bridge maintenance and repairs
- Patch painting and surface prep
- Abrasive blasting (lead-based paint environment)
- Structural repairs and inspections
- General upkeep of bridge and walkways
What You’ll Need
- Current Working at Heights ticket
- Current Confined Space ticket
- MR Licence (highly regarded)
- Ability to undertake lead (Pb) medical monitoring
- Good level of fitness and endurance
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and team attitude
Work Conditions
- Active role with a fair amount of walking
- Working at heights on purpose-built platforms
- Exposure to outdoor elements and wildlife
- Work is conducted in a controlled, safety-managed environment
- On-site showers and laundry facilities provided
Location Requirement
- Must be based in the Burdekin region or within a 50-minute commute
