Protech are currently seeking Civil Labourers to join a line marking crew supporting local government road and maintenance projects across the Cairns region. These roles offer ongoing work for candidates who are reliable, keen to learn, and looking to build a long-term career.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Immediate start available
- Casual roles with ongoing, stable work
- Working across local and remote projects
- Working away from home required (rostered 11-day fortnight when required)
- Night work required due to traffic and project delivery
- Full training provided to the right candiddate
- Opportunity for long-term placement and potential progression
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- General civil labouring duties
- Assisting with line marking and road maintenance operations
- Set-up, operation, and pack-down of equipment
- Working safely around live traffic and active work zones
- Manual handling and maintaining a clean, safe work environment
- Following all WHS and traffic management requirements
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Construction White Card
- Valid Traffic Control ticket (essential – must be current)
- MR Licence (essential)
- Previous civil labouring or outdoor work experience (highly regarded)
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
- Reliable transport
