Our client a leader in its field is seeking a Diesel mechanic for their workshop in the Singleton area.
ROLE:
- Conducting all facets of preventative maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles including brakes, steering, suspension, hydraulics and auxiliary equipment including High Pressure Water Jet and Vacuum Truck Systems.
- Ensure maximum asset availability
- Work safely and to workplace policies and procedures
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Proven experience in repairing and maintaining on highway trucks and light vehicle servicing
- Diagnostic tool trained eg TEXA and Snap On
- Knowledge on ISUZU, SCANIA & VOLVO
- Ability to diagnose and repair defects
- Knowledge of Auto Electrical & Air Conditioning
- Must have NSW Drivers licence preferably MR or HR Class
