Protech are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to perform work with one of our leading local clients.
This position is a long term opportunity, based in a precast concreting yard
Must be a Darwin resident
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Monday to Friday
- Up to 50 hours per week available
- Penalties applied
- Long term opportunity
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintenance, servicing and repair of plant and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out breakdown repairs
- Mechanical installation of moving parts and machinery
- Fabrication of steel moulds
- Welding and structural steel work, including fabrication and repairs
- Repair and maintenance of damaged or distorted steel moulds and formwork
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Australian Recognised Trade Qualification
- Similar experience working in heavy industry
- Own transport and driver’s licence
- Must pass drug and alcohol test and pre employment medical
