Protech are looking for experienced Metallurgy Technicians to perform work with our client, located in the Pilbara on a 2/2 Roster.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- $50.00 per hour
- ASAP START
- 8 month contract with potential opportunity for extension
- 2/2 roster (days only)
- Super on all hours

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sample collection from sample stations and live streams within the Processing Plant
- Accurate labelling, recording and data entry for all samples obtained
- Registration of samples into the Automated Laboratory Facility
- Assist with maintenance of laboratory and associated equipment
- Wet & dry sieving
- Representative splitting
- Filter Pressing
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Valid Western Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated experience as a metallurgical technician or laboratory technician
- Knowledge of sample collection and processing in a remote environment
- Forklift ticket (desirable)
- Australian Work Rights
- Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
