Protech are seeking the services of a Qualified Plumber to join the government aligned client in Townsville and beyond. Reporting to the Plumbing Foreperson you’ll play a key role in the construction, maintenance and refurbishing of schools, public facilities, social housing and various projects throughout the region.

 Essential Requirements

• Current Trade Qualification (minimum Certificate III in Plumbing)
• Current Queensland Plumbing Licence
• Current Construction Industry White Card
• Current Queensland C Class Driver’s Licence (or equivalent)
• Ability to successfully pass Drug & Alcohol screening

Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing and drainage works across construction and maintenance projects
• Ensure compliance with plumbing standards, regulations, and workplace procedures
• Work safely around asbestos, lead-based products, and other high-risk construction environments
• Complete daily risk assessments and follow all WHS requirements and site policies
• Identify and report hazards and contribute to a safe working environment
• Take personal responsibility for health, safety, and well being on site
• Deliver high-quality workmanship with a strong customer-focused approach
• Support a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture
• Travel to various worksites throughout the region and, when required, across Queensland
