We are seeking a hands-on Leading Hand to support daily operations that assemble meal kits for everyday families delivered to their doors. This role will suit candidates with previous experience working in a cold storage refrigeration DC, where temperatures are typically maintained at around 5°C. The environment is busy fast paced, and the days fly by quickly.
About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting the Quality Manager with daily production activities, supporting team members on the floor, and ensuring all food safety standards and best by dates are all in order. Early morning shift allowance and regular overtime are add on, to this permanent salary banding being advertised.
Responsibilities
- Ensure production schedules and daily targets are achieved
- Support with supplier management and stock management processes
- Coordinate line activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Identify, resolve and problem solve in the moment
- Coaching, and development of team members
- Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies
About You:
- Enjoy the ability to work towards leading a team
- A Go – Getter, solutions-focused approach to problem solving
- Previous experience in warehousing, production, or processing environments, but not necessary
- A keen eye for detail
- A positive attitude and upbeat

No previous experience necessary but, we are looking for someone who enjoys the workplace and building TEAMS. Someone who can demonstrate being part of a quality operation that has KPIs and Strick guidelines to stock movements and control.
