Protech Cairns is currently seeking a Project System Representative (PSR) to join our client, a commercial business within the Department of Transport and Main Roads, supporting the delivery of road infrastructure and maintenance projects across Queensland.

About the Role As a Project System Representative, you will play a key role in supporting project delivery teams by maintaining project information, managing system data, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of reporting processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining project management systems and databases
- Coordinating the collection, validation, and reporting of project information
- Supporting project teams with system processes, documentation, and compliance requirements
- Monitoring project data to ensure accuracy and quality
- Preparing reports and providing insights to support decision-making
- Liaising with project personnel and stakeholders to resolve system-related issues
- Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery systems
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Experience in project administration, project controls, business systems, or a similar role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and reporting tools
- Experience within construction, civil infrastructure, engineering, or government environments will be highly regarded
