Protech are currently seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join a local council team on a short-term contract (minimum 2–6 months).

About the Role
Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, you will be responsible for delivering key functions aligned to council operations.
This role offers the opportunity to step in and make an immediate impact while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support within the team
- Deliver high-quality outcomes in line with council policies and procedures
- Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team objectives
About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience working within local government or a similar environment (highly regarded)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience aligned to the position
