Team Leader – Plastics Production (Geebung, QLD)
Protech is seeking an experienced Team Leader to join a reputable manufacturing facility in Geebung. This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role with strong long-term career potential in a supportive environment.
This is a hands-on leadership role, combining production responsibilities with team supervision, coaching, and continuous improvement.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Immediate start
- Rotating shifts: Day, Afternoon & Night
- Day: 6:00am – 2:30pm
- Afternoon: 2:00pm – 10:30pm (penalties apply)
- Night: 10:00pm – 6:30am (penalties apply)
- $39.88+ per hour + applicable penalties
- Based in a Manufacturing Facility
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and coordinate production teams to achieve daily targets
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Monitor workflow, troubleshoot issues, and minimise downtime
- Train, coach, and support team members
- Drive accountability for performance and attendance
- Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and leadership teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain equipment and a safe, clean work environment
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
- 12+ months’ experience in a Team Leader/Leading Hand role (manufacturing/production)
- Experience in plastics or similar industries (desirable)
- Strong understanding of workplace health & safety
- Proven leadership in fast-paced environments
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills
