SAFETY ADVISOR (TOWNSVILLE)
Protech is recruiting for a Safety Advisor to be based in Townsville, FIFO to Phosphate Hill.

- 12 hr, Mon-Mon 8:6 roster

RESPONSIBILITIES but not limited to the following;
- Risk Management: provide expert advise in a mining and high-risk chemical manufacturing environment on identifying, assessing, and mitigating safety and health risks
- Lead Safety Strategy: Develop, implement, and oversee safety and health systems that meet regulatory and industry standards
- Incident Management and leading investigations
- Stakeholder collaboration: work closely with internal and external Senior Management and mining teams
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Strong background in Safety in the mining environment
- Strong knowledge of the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Act
- Diploma or Cert IV in WHS
- High level of computer literacy and effective use of various software packages
- Ability to facilitate and lead incident investigations using approved methodologies (ICAM)
- Current C Class Licence
