Protech SA is hiring Trades Assistants and Welders for ongoing work at a newly expanded prefabrication facility in Gillman, operated by a national leader in steel reinforcement.
🔧Available Roles
Trades Assistants
- Support welders and machine operators
- Handle steel components
- Operate forklifts or gantry cranes
Welders
- Tack weld reinforcement cages in a production line environment
- Work with both steel and GFRP materials
✅ What You’ll Need
Trades Assistants:
- Forklift Licence (LF) – Essential
- Overhead/Gantry Crane RII – Highly Regarded
- Experience in manufacturing, steel, or metalwork (preferred)
- Physically fit and safety-conscious
- Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
Welders:
- MIG, TIG, and tack welding experience
- Must pass a weld test
- Ability to read and interpret drawings
- Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
- Physically fit and safety-conscious
