Protech is hiring experienced Civil Labourers and Multi-Skilled Plant Operators for a high-profile Defence infrastructure project at RAAF Base Edinburgh in Adelaide’s northern suburbs.
If you already hold a Defence Common Access Card (DCAC) for RAAF Base Edinburgh, that’s a bonus. We’re also keen to hear from candidates who can provide a clear police check.

🛠️ Roles Available
Civil Labourers
💰 $36–$39.38/hr (depending on experience) + penalties & allowances
- Trenching, drainage, backfilling
- Pipe laying (stormwater, sewer, CST, water mains)
- Spotting for plant and machinery
- Hand tools, site clean-up, general labouring
Plant Operators
💰 $41.14–$51.16/hr (depending on experience) + penalties & allowances
- Excavators (Final Trim & GPS)
- Dozers, Graders, Loaders, Rollers
- Dump Trucks, Water Trucks, Skid Steers, Telehandlers
- Earthworks, trenching, road construction, subdivisions
✅ What You’ll Need
- Construction White Card
- Driver’s licence + reliable transport
- 3+ years civil experience
- RII tickets & VOCs (for operators)
- DCAC for RAAF Base Edinburgh—highly desirable
- Ability to pass police check, medical, and drug/alcohol screening
