Protech are looking for experienced Quarry Operators to perform work with our client, located in Glen Forbes on a casual to full time basis.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Immediate start
- Casual role with full time hours (view to go permanent)
- Day shift available
- $40-$45 per hour + shift penalties + super
- 2 x moxy operators (articulated)
- 1 x loader
- 1 x dozer
- 1 x excavator
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate mobile plant – Front End Loader/Dump Truck/Excavator will be most advantageous
- Load raw materials into hoppers, crushers, and trucks using excavators/front end loaders
- Perform general yard cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Monitor plant and equipment performance, identifying and addressing issues
- Conduct basic machine maintenance and safety checks
- Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and compliant with safety standards
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Drivers licence with reliable transport
- 2+ years experience in quarry operation (crushers & stockpiling)
- Exp operating Front End Loader, Dump Truck & Excavator
- Sales and face loading experience highly advantageous
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screening
