KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Painter/Blaster working at DBCT P/L in the Protective Coating/Structural Maintenance, your work includes the establishment of work sites to safely execute blast and painting activities associated with repair to all infrastructure/steel structures, and steelwork fabrication with the nominated protective coating requirements.
ABOUT YOU:
Successful candidates will require the following experience / qualifications:
- 2 years previous Painter/Blaster experience to QA requirements or 2 years previous painting experience (automotive / house painting) for potential upskilling opportunities
- Coal Port/Mine experience (desirable)
- Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
- Working at Heights
- Ability to obtain a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
- Current drivers’ licence
- Birth Certificate or Passport
- Confined Space (desirable)
- Local to the Mackay & Sarina region
These roles have no accommodation supplied. Successful candidates will need to reside in the Mackay region.
