Quality Assurance Officer – Asphalt Projects
📍 Location: Townsville
💼 Industry: Civil Construction / Infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor asphalt delivery (tipping trucks) and accurately record volumes, timings, and material checks.
- Complete all required on site documentation including quality records, test logs, and compliance paperwork.
- Verify materials, processes, and workmanship against project and client specifications.
- Assist in tracking production, delivery, and lay down performance for reporting.
- Provide hands-on support with general labouring tasks when required.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong attention to detail with excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced outdoor setting.
- Physically capable of performing manual labour when needed.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with site paperwork systems.
- Previous experience in asphalt, civil construction, or quality assurance is advantageous but not essential.
