Forklift, Batching & Process Operators – Townsville

Protech is seeking reliable Forklift Operators, Batching Operators, and Process Operators to join our Tier 1 client in Townsville. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent, ongoing work with a national agribusiness manufacturing stockfeed for distribution across Australia.
You don’t need to be highly qualified — if you have practical experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.

About the Role
- Location: Townsville, QLD
- Shifts: Day, Afternoon & Night
- Hours: 8‑hour shifts with potential overtime
- Industry: Agribusiness / Manufacturing / Logistics
- Environment: Production & distribution facility manufacturing national stockfeed products
Key ResponsibilitiesForklift Operation
- Safe operation of forklifts for loading, unloading, and product movement
- Supporting warehouse and dispatch teams
Batching & Process Operations
- Operating batching or processing equipment (training provided)
- Monitoring production flow, product quality, and basic troubleshooting
General Production & Warehouse Duties
- Stock movement and pallet stacking
- Boxing, wrapping, and preparing orders
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Participating in pre‑starts, toolbox talks, and general labouring tasks
What We’re Looking For
- Some experience in forklift operation and/or production, ideally 12 months
- High‑Risk Forklift Licence (LF) (required for forklift roles)
- Willingness to learn batching and process operations
- Strong focus on safety and reliability
- Physically fit for manual‑handling tasks
- Good communication and a team‑first attitude
- Ability to pass an instant drug and alcohol screening
