About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Statutory Site Supervisor to lead a small operations team at this Koolyanobbing site. Please note this is a Drive in/ Drive out role. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee daily mining activities, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate mobile plant operations. You will play a key part in maintaining productivity and quality standards while fostering a positive team culture. This role requires the person to hold a schedule 26 qualification. You will supervise a core team of 3 – 4 Site Operators, with a structured handover process between crews. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress toward Senior Site Executive (SSE) level.

 
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a small team across extraction, stockpiling, and blending operations
  • Coordinate daily activities of mobile and civil plant equipment (dozers, loaders, excavators, rollers, water carts)
  • Plan and allocate tasks while monitoring team performance and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational standards
  • Oversee irrigation, product washing, and blending processes
  • Liaise with management regarding production targets and maintenance requirements
  • Assist with basic mechanical troubleshooting and hose coupling tasks

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leading hand role within mining or civil operations.
  • Hold a schedule 26 Mine certification or be available to get one if successful
  • Strong mobile plant operating background.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • min HR and HC Truck Licence preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small, remote team environment.
  • Current driver’s licence and own transport to site.
  • National Police Clearance and ability to pass pre-employment medical/LABDAS.
