Protech SA is currently seeking Switchboard Manufacturer and Trade Assistants for ongoing opportunities with one of Australia’s largest switchboards and switchrooms manufacturer based in Adelaide. About the Role
- Casual position with full-time hours and ongoing work available
- 38-hour week (Monday to Friday) + weekend overtime available
- Competitive rates
- Work within a structured, workshop-based environment
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the assembly and wiring of electrical switchboards
- Interpret basic drawings and follow work instructions
- Support electricians and supervisors with manufacturing tasks
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Ensure all work is completed to quality and safety standards
- Assist with testing, fault finding, and general workshop duties
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, electrical or workshop environment advantageous
- Switchboard assembly or electrical TA experience highly regarded
- Ability to read and interpret basic drawings (desirable)
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Commitment to workplace safety
