Protech are looking for a labourer with a TMI traffic control ticket and a MR/HR truck licence to work across a rotating shift pattern based in Nerang for a leading roads and maintenance company.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a hands-on role that involves managing and controlling traffic flow at incidents on state funded roads. It is essential that you operate safely in high-risk environments, following site procedures and safety regulations.
You will work as part of a team to respond to road incidents (breakdowns, accidents, hazards) and assist in clearing the site safely and efficiently
- Immediate start available
- Rates start from $42.95 with additional allowances
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Barrier and signage repairs
- Communicate with team members, supervisors, and emergency services to coordinate traffic movements
- Driving MR/HR-class vehicles to and from job sites
- Assisting with general road maintenance duties as required
- Ensuring all work is completed and to a high standard
- Adhering to company safety policies and procedures
TICKETS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Previous labouring experience on road maintenance
- Valid MR / HR Truck licence – essential
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work across Day shift and Night shift as required
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Good communication skills and team attitude
- Successful applicant will be required to complete and pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
