Trades Assistant – Afternoon Shift
Location: Burnie & Wynyard
About the Role:
PROTECH are currently seeking Trades Assistants to join a busy process driven workshop. These are hands-on roles suited to reliable, fit and experienced candidates looking for consistent work with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Trade Assistant Key Responsibilities
- Production TA duties such as- Welding, Forklift operation, Pressure cleaning, Assisting Tradespeople where required
- Operating tools and workshop equipment
- Supporting fabrication, maintenance, and general workshop duties
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Trades Assistant Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ workshop experience (essential)
- Valid forklift licence (mandatory)
- Ability to work Afternoon shift
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Commitment to workplace health & safety with great eye for detail
