About the Role
Protech is currently seeking motivated and reliable Civil Labourers for ongoing projects across North Queensland, regional Queensland, and remote locations.
These roles offer exposure to a variety of road maintenance, asphalt, spray seal, civil construction, and infrastructure projects. We are looking for candidates who enjoy hands-on outdoor work, can work effectively within a team, and are willing to travel when required.
Duties May Include
- General civil and construction labouring
- Road maintenance and rehabilitation works
- Asphalt and spray seal labouring
- Concrete, drainage and culvert works
- Vegetation control and roadside maintenance
- Installation and maintenance of roadside assets
- Manual handling and use of hand and power tools
- Site housekeeping and safety duties
- Emergency response and repair works
Essential Requirements
- Current Driver Licence
- Construction White Card
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Ability to work away from home when required
- Availability for day and night shifts
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
- Ability to attend the Protech office for onboarding and compliance requirements
Highly Regarded
- MR Licence or higher
- Previous civil, construction, road maintenance, asphalt, or labouring experience
- Traffic Management tickets
- Plant operating experience
- Trade background or related industry experience
- Additional tickets and licences
