Protech is looking for experienced Civil Machine Operators & Labourers for several projects across the Cairns region. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major projects with long-term growth potential.
We’re seeking skilled operators for a range of heavy machinery, including:
Excavators, Loaders, Dozers, Rollers, Moxy trucks, Graders, Skid-steers and more.
About the Role
✔ Immediate starts available for the right candidate
✔ Monday–Friday | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
✔ Pay: Starting from $36.65 per hour (based on experience)
✔ Penalties, overtime and weekend work available
✔ Civil construction operators with road or subdivision experience highly regarded
Key Responsibilities
- Operate civil machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance
- Follow site safety procedures and project specifications
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew
- Assist with general civil works when required
Tickets & Experience Required
- Construction White Card
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transport
- Proven experience operating civil machinery desirable
- Current RII tickets & HR license desirable
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
