About the Opportunity
Protech is seeking an experienced Supply & Demand Planning Analyst to join our client’s team in Virginia.

This is an ongoing opportunity offering stability and the chance to contribute to a high-performing supply chain function within a manufacturing environment.

In this role, you will play a key part in improving forecast accuracy, ensuring material availability, reducing stockouts, and optimising inventory performance.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to balance demand and supply while driving efficiencies across the network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update demand forecasts within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements
  • Support inventory review processes, including ABC classification and ongoing stock optimisation
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively identify risks such as overstock, stockouts, and supply constraints
  • Contribute to the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including demand inputs, reporting, and analysis
  • Ensure integrity and accuracy of master data to support effective planning outcomes
  • Develop and deliver regular reports on demand trends, forecast accuracy, and inventory performance
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across sales, operations, and supply chain to validate inputs and communicate insights


About You

You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for data-driven decision-making and supply chain efficiency.

Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a supply chain, planning, or analyst role
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups); Power BI or similar tools are advantageous
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (plastics/concrete preferred)
