Protech are currently seeking experienced Quarry Haul Truck Drivers to support operations across a local quarry project. This role offers consistent local work leading into the wet season, ideal for operators seeking reliable short-term opportunities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Immediate start available
- Casual role with ongoing work
- Local quarry work – home every night
- Operating articulated haul trucks within quarry environments
- Day and night shifts may be required depending on production schedules
- Penalty rates, overtime, and allowances apply
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safe operation of articulated haul trucks
- Hauling materials within quarry sites
- Conducting pre-start checks and basic maintenance
- Working safely around other plant, personnel, and site traffic
- Following site procedures and safety requirements
- Maintaining clean and efficient work practices
- Assisting with general site duties when required
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Valid Driver Licence with proven articulated haul truck experience (essential)
- Demonstrated experience operating articulated dump/haul trucks in quarry or mining environments
- Strong understanding of site safety and fatigue management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Physically fit for site-based work
- Reliable transport
