Protech is currently seeking Machine Operators/Gantry Crane Operators to join our client in Wetherill Park.
These are casual ongoing opportunities offering stable work, excellent training, and the chance to work with products supplied to major building and construction projects.
Depending on the role there is Day and Afternoon shifts available, with rates starting from $40 per hour, and up to $46.00 per hour subject to the role and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture reinforcing steel and accessories for the building and construction industry
- Operate fixed manufacturing machinery and production equipment
- Safely load and unload trucks using gantry cranes and approved lifting gear
- Move steel products around the factory and yard safely
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safety‑focused work area
What You’ll Need:
- Experience with gantry crane operation and machine operating highly regarded
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Applicants must be willing and able to obtain a satisfactory National Police Check
