We are currently recruiting for an Inventory & Quality Controller to join a fast‑growing fresh food packaging company based in Jandakot, delivering quality produce directly to Australian households.
About the Role This is a hands‑on, hybrid warehouse and quality role and a key part of the Inventory and Quality Assurance team. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming produce from suppliers and the final product delivered to customers.
This role goes beyond auditing and reporting — you’ll be actively involved in production, food storage, and distribution centre movements, working closely with operations to maintain food safety and quality standards throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials from goods receival through to post‑production reconciliation
• Conduct pre‑operational checks in line with quality standards
• Monitor temperatures, take product samples, and maintain compliance records
• Identify and report non‑conformance in line with DC quality standards
• Packaging and repackaging as required for production
• Monitor stock levels and support production as needed
• Liaise with Quality, Operations, and Management to prevent stock loss
• Maintain housekeeping standards and comply with all OH&S requirements
• Ensure compliance with GMP and Food Safety regulations
• Work within production, storage, and dispatch environments (including cool rooms)

About You

• Minimum 6 months’ experience in a quality role OR relevant qualification in Quality / Food Safety
• Experience within the food manufacturing or food handling industry
• Good understanding of Food Safety and GMP requirements
• Comfortable working in a warehouse and production environment
• Physically fit – able to lift up to 25kg
• Able to work in a cool room environment (approx. 5°C)
• Full availability and valid Australian working rights
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, team‑focused attitude
