Protech are looking for experienced Shotfirers to perform work with our client, located in the South West of WA on a DIDO 7/7 Roster.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- ASAP Start
- 3-6 months with potential perm
- Pay rate: $60-$70 (depending on experience)
- 7/7 Roster days only (12 hour days)
- Weekly Pay
- DIDO ex Perth
- Super on all Hours
- Work close to home on a site with a great culture
- Permanent rooms
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Priming & loading explosives into blast holes
- Stemming of blast holes
- Supervising blast crew
- Ensuring safety whilst handling or using explosives
- Ability to work in a team & individually
- Electronics, Orica exposure, familiar with icon system (preferred)
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Valid Western Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Australian Work Rights
- Minimum 12 months+ experience in a similar role
- Ability to maintain fitness for work, pass a pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testing.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance check
- Valid & contactable references
- Strong understanding and adherence to OHS
