Protech is hiring experienced Storepersons in Cairns!

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Start Date: ASAP
• Employment: Casual with steady, reliable hours
• Schedule: Monday to Friday – enjoy your weekends off!
• PPE: Provided
• Pay Increase: Eligible for a pay rise after 3 months

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Stock control, inventory management, and warehouse organisation
• Picking and packing orders with accuracy and speed
• Updating computer systems, entering data, and maintaining digital stock records
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse software to track and manage inventory
• Identifying discrepancies, troubleshooting stock issues, and resolving problems proactively
• Loading/unloading materials and operating forklifts safely
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment

REQUIREMENTS

• Current Forklift Licence
• Valid Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
• Strong computer literacy (inventory systems, scanners, MS Office, etc.)
• Previous warehouse, logistics, or storeperson experience
• A proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to safety
