Protech have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Technician to join a well‑established project based in Cairns, QLD.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Immediate start available
- Casual postion with Full‑Time hours
- Monday to Friday with potential overtime as required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct on‑site sampling of concrete and aggregate materials
- Perform laboratory testing in accordance with inspection and test plans, Australian standards, and NATA requirements
- Maintain accurate testing records and reporting of results
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Construction White Card
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Current Nuke (Radiation) Licence – essential
- Previous experience as a Laboratory Technician (highly desirable)
- Experience within a construction, quarry, or concrete environment advantageous
- Knowledge of Australian and industry testing standards
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
