Protech are seeking experienced Civil Labourers, Leading Hands and Plant Operators for ongoing work located in Manly!
About the role:
Monday to Friday work + optional Saturdays
Great hourly rates + overtime + allowances

What You’ll Be Doing
Civil Labouring Duties:
- Installing fencing, signage, flagging and environmental controls
- General site clean-up and housekeeping
- Spotting machinery and working safely around services
- Assisting plant operators and site supervisors
Plant Operating (If Ticketed):
- Roller
- Moxy
- Watercart
- Excavator
Leading Hand Duties:
- Lead and manage a team of internal employees and subcontractors to ensure daily project activities are executed safely, effectively, and in alignment with project objectives.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and legislative requirements.
- Support the Site Supervisor in achieving project milestones, planning daily tasks, and delivering high‑quality outcomes across all phases of the project.
- Motivate, guide, and mentor team members to foster a positive work environment, promote high productivity, and maintain strong employee engagement and satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- Full Australian working rights
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- At least 6 months experience in civil earthworks
- 6 months Leading Hand experience (For Leading Hand position)
- Current driver’s licence + reliable transport
- RII or VOC Tickets (essential for operator roles)
- Strong work ethic, reliability and a positive, team-focused attitude
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required
