Protech is looking for data cablers and optic splicers with fibre and copper experience for data centres in the western suburbs of Melbourne.
About the role:
– Casual roles starting ASAP
– Day shifts working Monday to Friday
– $50ph-$55ph + super + penalties + travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in Communications, NBN, Electrical, Data Cabling, or similar technical environments is essential for the role
- Install and support communications infrastructure in data centres
- Read and interpret project drawings and documentation
- Fibre and copper cable installations and terminations
- Work collaboratively with project teams
- Follow all site safety procedures and industry standards
You will have:
- ACMA Open Cabling Registration (essential)
- Strong understanding of data cabling standards and industry practices
- White Card (essential)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work independently and within a team
